KIDS FIBER CAMP

Friday Afternoons starting June 21^st …. Due to many requests, we have moved out kids Fiber classes to Friday afternoons. As our class schedule goes to press, we are still confirming dates with our teachers for these classes, so check the website under “classes”, and look for the KIDS page around Memorial Day. These classes are on the list, and Basic Papermaking is scheduled below:

Potholder Weaving, Crochet, Weaving, Kumihimo, Sheep Ornaments (roving), Wet Felting, Sneaker Painting, and Knitting are among the classes under consideration at this time. These classes start June 23^rd and go through the first weekend in August.

A. Basic Papermaking-Kids

Instructor: Denise Davis                                                       Fee: $35 + tax

Date: Friday June 21st  1:30-3:30 pm

We will make pulp from recycled paper, learn to throw a basic sheet, enhance with texture and additives. Ages 10 and up !

Instructor supplies: Everything

Student supplies: small amounts of fibers, things for embellishment if they have something to add. Wear clothing and shoes appropriate for ‘wet arts’.
