Trunk Shows


  • Habu Trunk Show and Classes

    July, 19

    Trunk Show and classes will be at Village Wools on Monday, July 19. Habu Textiles Logo There will be three (identical) 45 minute knitting workshops, starting at 10:15 am, 1:00 and 4:00 pm. This will allow lots of time to see and try on the 50 (plus!) Habu garments that will be here for the trunk show. If you fall in love with any of them, (and you know you will) we will take orders for kits. Kits will be 10% off retail price, and must be paid for at the time of the order.

    The workshops will cost $10, and enrollment is limited, so pick the time that works for you, and call (883-2919) to register.

  • Kathe Todd Hooker Gallery Show

    July 17 - 24

    Village Wools will be proudly hosting the Handweavers' Guild of America gallery show featuring the works of Kathe Todd Hooker. Stop in and see the fabulous attention to detail in these lovely tapestries. Ms. Hooker will be teaching a workshop entitled More! at Village Wools that will be held from Monday, July 26 through Wednesday, July 28. See the Class Schedule page for details.



  • Fiber to Finish Gallery Show

    July 17 - 24

    Village Wools will be proudly hosting the Handweavers' Guild of America gallery show featuring the works of The Fiber to Finish Guild based in Los Lunas, NM. The members of the guild produced fiber creations based on the works of New Mexico Artists: R.C. Gorman, Georgia O'Keefe, and Gustave Baumann.

Second Friday of every month. 1:00 - 2:30 pm. Call and sign up for date you can come. Come join Pam and try out some of our cool, new yarns!

Knitting, Crochet and Weaving Help

We have temporarily suspended special help hours for the summer. Our staff will be happy to help you with your questions and problems, but please be patient with us, as we also have retail and telephone responsibilities. Also, we respectfully request that you avoid the hour between 5 and 6 pm, as we are short handed due to daily paperwork responsibilities.

Inventory Day: Village Wools will be Closed for inventory on Saturday, August 28

PARKING ISSUES: If you are attending a class or guild meeting at Village Wools we would appreciate you parking across from the front of the building so there will be easy access for our other customers who come to the store for shorter visits. The evenings and Sundays are different. Also at any time, please do not park in front of the attorney’s office. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
